Rudolph E. D'Souza, PhD

Professor Emeritus: University of Delaware
Dr. D'Souza was a tenured professor at the University of Delaware teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses in finance from 1982-1999. During his tenure, he received an award for teaching excellence. In 1989, Rudy and his wife Mabel, decided to become entrepreneurs and opened D'Souza & Associates. With the support of each other, they forged ahead and have made a very successful business. During the start up of D&A, Rudy continued to teach at the University of Delaware. Taking early retirement in 1999/2000 to focus on this business, Rudy's insightful acumen has made him a very valuable asset. His expertise in investments, financial planning, and general business have also translated to consulting services for both clients of D&A as well as other entities outside of the healthcare management field.
Mabel A. D'Souza, CPA, CPC, CPCP, CPCH

Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania
Mabel began her career in 1982 at Jennersville Regional Hospital, formerly South Chester County Hospital, as a staff accountant. Within 5 years, she ascended the ranks and became vice president of finance/accounting of the hospital. In this capacity she learned about healthcare management and medical billing. In 1989, D'Souza & Associates opened for business. Mabel left her prestigious position as vice president at Southern Chester County hospital and devoted her full attention on this new business endeavor. With Mabel's tireless efforts and vast experience in the field, D&A continues to move ahead in the rapidly changing arena of healthcare management.
Rohit E. D'Souza, MBA, WCSP

Mr. D'Souza graduated with a bachelor's degree in operations management and his master’s in business administration from the University of Delaware. His primary responsibilities include information systems management, coordinating the operational day-to-day activities of the company, document imaging, mail duties, and personnel management. He also participates in the development and implementation of functional policies and procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of general business operations.
Pooja Verma, B.A.
BA in Psychology from the University of Delaware
Ms. Verma graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Delaware. After her undergraduate schooling she went to MBNA of America, where she was a project manager with specific duties in data mining, direct mail, marketing and advertising. During MBNA's acquisition of Wachovia bank, she managed a substantial portion of the merger which involved data mining and security. Her responsibilities at D'Souza & Associates include accounting, patient billing, customer service, data management, contracts, accounts receivables, insurance follow up, and client relations.
Rohan D. D'Souza, B.S.
BS in finance with a minor in computer science from the University of Delaware
Mr. D'Souza graduated with a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Delaware. His primary responsibilities include accounting, payroll, procedure/data entry management, HIPPA compliance, ICD-9/10 coding, supply chain management, and data merging/processing.

Rajesh graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Delaware. After his undergraduate degree, he went on to complete multiple Microsoft Certifications and is an intuitive information technology professional. His responsibilities at D'Souza & Associates include networking, computer hardware and software maintenance, data management, firewall and network security. He is currently enrolled and taking MBA classes at Georgetown University. He plans on working towards both his MBA and his Juris Doctor in healthcare law.
